- Accurately process and prepare all outgoing shipments, ensuring that they are correctly packed, labeled, and documented.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and fulfill orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, following all safety protocols and warehouse guidelines.
- Inspect all incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Use warehouse management systems and other software applications to track shipments and maintain inventory levels.
- Communicate and coordinate with various departments, such as purchasing and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Assist with loading and unloading of shipments, including heavy or bulky items.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our members by answering questions and resolving any shipping-related issues.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including quality control standards, to ensure accuracy and efficiency in shipping operations.
- Continuously monitor and improve shipping processes to increase productivity and reduce errors.
- Keep accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- Train and mentor new shipping clerks as needed.
- Proactively identify and report any potential safety hazards or risks in the shipping area.
- Uphold the company's values and represent Sam's Club in a professional and positive manner at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Sam's Shipping Clerk Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Math And Communication Skills Necessary For The Job.
