- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase membership sales.
- Provide ongoing training and development to sales team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively serve our members.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all sales team members are knowledgeable about membership programs and able to effectively communicate the benefits to potential members.
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming environment for members and team members.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and exceptional member experience.
- Set and maintain high standards for customer service and ensure they are consistently met by the sales team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback and coaching to sales team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales and customer service to continuously improve our processes and strategies.
- Serve as a role model for the sales team, demonstrating excellent sales skills and customer service.
- Handle member inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive membership sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to enhance sales opportunities.
- Monitor and manage sales team budget and expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Sales And Training Manager Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Customers, And Upper Management To Convey Information And Motivate Team Members.
Previous Sales Experience: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Have Previous Experience In Sales, Preferably In A Retail Environment. This Experience Will Provide The Necessary Foundation For Managing And Training A Sales Team.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: The Sales And Training Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Sales Associates. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members, And The Ability To Handle Conflicts And Challenges Within The Team.
Knowledge Of Sam's Club Products And Services: A Thorough Understanding Of Sam's Club's Products And Services Is Essential For This Role. The Sales And Training Manager Should Have Knowledge Of The Company's Offerings, Pricing, And Promotions In Order To Effectively Train And Coach Team Members.
Training And Development Expertise: The Sales And Training Manager Will Be Responsible For Developing Training Programs And Materials For Sales Associates. This Requires A Strong Understanding Of Training And Development Principles And The Ability To Adapt Training Methods To Different Learning Styles.
