Welcome to Sam's Club! We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales and Training Manager for our Membership department. As a Sales and Training Manager, you will play a vital role in driving membership sales and ensuring that our team is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. We are looking for someone who is not only a strong leader and salesperson, but also a passionate trainer and mentor.   1. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive membership growth and meet sales targets.
  2. Train and coach team members on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  3. Monitor and analyze team performance to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
  4. Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and market competition to make informed sales and training decisions.
  6. Collaborate with other managers and departments to ensure consistent messaging and efficient operations.
  7. Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources for ongoing employee development.
  8. Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work culture.
  9. Recruit, hire, and train new team members to maintain a strong and motivated sales team.
  10. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of membership products and promotions.
  11. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Conduct performance evaluations and provide recommendations for career development and advancement opportunities.
  13. Demonstrate a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and values to uphold and promote a positive brand image.
  14. Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to develop and implement effective sales and promotional campaigns.
  15. Keep track of and report on sales data, training initiatives, and team performance to senior management.

  • Proven Sales And Training Experience: A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Success In Both Sales And Training, Preferably In A Retail Or Membership-Based Environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial For A Sales And Training Manager To Effectively Train And Motivate Team Members, As Well As Communicate With Potential And Existing Members. The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Professionally Is A Must.

  • Leadership And Team Management: This Role Requires Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Manage And Motivate A Team Of Sales Associates. A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience In Coaching, Mentoring, And Developing Team Members To Meet And Exceed Goals.

  • Understanding Of Membership Programs: Familiarity With Membership Programs And Their Benefits Is Essential For This Role. A Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Sam's Club Membership Structure And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Its Value To Potential And Existing Members.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Successful Sales And Training Manager Should Be Able To Analyze Sales Data And Identify Trends, As Well As Make Strategic Decisions Based On This Information. Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools Is A Plus.
