- Greet and welcome customers to the store in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all produce products, including their origin, quality, and availability.
- Ensure the produce department is fully stocked at all times and shelves are neatly organized and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock to management.
- Assist customers in finding and selecting produce items, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Ensure all produce products are fresh, properly labeled, and comply with food safety regulations.
- Rotate and restock produce products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
- Keep work area clean and organized, including storage areas and display cases.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations of the produce department.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the customer experience and increase sales.
- Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on product knowledge, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
