- Greet and welcome members to the pharmacy department in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist in filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Answer phone calls and address member inquiries and concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to members' needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and update member profiles and prescription records accurately.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure timely and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ordering medications, and restocking shelves.
- Educate members on the proper use and storage of medications.
- Adhere to all safety and confidentiality protocols.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other pharmacy team members to achieve departmental goals and targets.
- Be an advocate for the Sam's Club brand by promoting and upholding company values and standards.
- Follow all state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician Position At Sam's Club Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Indicates That Candidates Have A Basic Level Of Education And Are Able To Handle The Daily Tasks Of A Pharmacy Technician.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Sam's Club Prefers Candidates Who Have Completed A Training Program And Have Obtained Certification As A Pharmacy Technician. This Certification Shows That The Candidate Has Knowledge And Skills In Pharmacy Operations And Is Capable Of Handling Medication Safely.
