- Greet and welcome customers to Sam's Club with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Assist pharmacists in providing exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Accurately and efficiently fill and dispense medication orders under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Ensure the proper labeling, packaging, and record-keeping of all medication orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regularly cleaning and restocking the pharmacy shelves.
- Follow all state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures related to medication dispensing and handling.
- Update and maintain patient profiles and medication records in the pharmacy's computer system.
- Communicate with insurance providers and process insurance claims for medication orders.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
- Continuously expand knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education opportunities.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pharmacy Technician At Sam's Club Should Have A Basic Education And Be Able To Understand And Follow Instructions.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht): Sam's Club Requires All Pharmacy Technicians To Be Certified By The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations And Procedures: A Pharmacy Technician At Sam's Club Should Have A Good Understanding Of Medications, Drug Interactions, And Pharmacy Regulations.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: Sam's Club Values Exceptional Customer Service, And Pharmacy Technicians Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Customers And Provide Them With Accurate And Helpful Information.
