Welcome to Sam's Club's Pharmacist Manager role! We are looking for a passionate and experienced Pharmacist Professional to lead our pharmacy team. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university • Current state pharmacy license • At least five years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting • Proven success in managing a team of pharmacy professionals • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and pharmacy operations • Ability to provide high-quality customer service • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to pharmacy operations. • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Maintain accurate records of medications, prescriptions, and other pharmacy-related documents. • Train pharmacy staff on the proper handling of medications and other pharmacy-related procedures. • Monitor and advise pharmacy staff on the proper dispensing of medications. • Manage inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels. • Oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of medications and supplies. • Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals regarding prescription needs and drug interactions. • Monitor and manage medication costs and negotiate contracts with suppliers. • Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency of pharmacy operations.
