Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Pharmacist Manager to join the Sam's Club team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the pharmacy and ensuring the delivery of quality pharmaceutical care to our members. You must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be licensed in the state of [state]. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure a high level of customer service and quality pharmaceutical care.
  2. Provide professional advice and guidance on pharmaceutical matters to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  3. Manage the pharmacy’s inventory, order medications, and maintain accurate records.
  4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to pharmacy practice.
  5. Monitor patient medication therapy and prescribe modifications as needed.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability and efficiency of the pharmacy.
  7. Educate staff and customers on proper medication use and safety.
  8. Conduct patient consultations and provide drug information.
  9. Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  10. Stay current on trends and changes in the pharmacy industry.
