Job Description

We at Sam's Club are looking for an experienced, dedicated Pharmacist Manager to join our team and help provide fast, friendly, and accurate pharmacy services to our customers. The successful candidate must possess a PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, current licensure in the state of practice, and a minimum of 3 years of pharmacy management experience. We are looking for a team-oriented leader with excellent communication and organizational skills to manage our pharmacy operations and ensure our standards of compliance and customer service are met. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all pharmacy operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, compliance, and accuracy.
  2. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of pharmacy staff, providing ongoing training and development to ensure high standards of practice.
  4. Oversee the ordering, stocking, and inventory of pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment.
  5. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, medications, and patient information.
  6. Monitor and control pharmacy budget and expenditures.
  7. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Participate in the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new pharmacy staff.
  10. Maintain current knowledge of trends, developments, and regulations in the pharmacy profession.
