- Collaborate with the rest of the vision care team to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for members.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of member visits, prescriptions, and purchases.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
- Continuously strive to improve the overall member experience and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance vision care services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including eyewear displays and inventory.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to stay current on new products, services, and techniques in the field of optometry.
- Handle member inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Work closely with the optical lab to ensure accurate and timely completion of member orders.
- Uphold the company's values of integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence in all interactions with members and team members.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding optometry practice and maintain a valid optician's license.
Certified Optician: The Ideal Candidate For This Job Should Possess A Valid Certification From The American Board Of Opticianry (Abo) And The National Contact Lens Examiners (Ncle). This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Expertise To Provide Quality Eye Care Services.
Strong Customer Service Skills: As An Optician At Sam's Club, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers. They Should Be Able To Provide Personalized Recommendations And Assist Customers In Selecting The Right Eyewear Products.
