Job Description

Sam's Club is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable Optician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and offering professional advice and assistance to customers as they select eyewear and contact lenses. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented individual who is customer-focused and committed to meeting the needs of our members.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in opticianry, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a strong understanding of current trends in eyewear and contact lenses. They should also be knowledgeable about the products and services we offer and be able to provide customers with accurate information about our products and services. Additionally, the Optician should be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service and offer professional advice and assistance to customers as they select eyewear and contact lenses.
  2. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Have a strong understanding of current trends in eyewear and contact lenses.
  4. Be knowledgeable about the products and services offered and be able to provide customers with accurate information.
  5. Maintain records of patient information, measurements, prescriptions, and payments.
  6. Adhere to all applicable regulations and laws relating to opticianry.
  7. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
