- Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's merchandising policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Regularly review and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for product placement and promotions.
- Collaborate with the buying team to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries and restocking.
- Conduct regular store walks to ensure that all product displays are visually appealing and in line with company standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Ensure that all merchandise is accurately priced and labeled according to company guidelines.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the store's layout and product placement to enhance the overall shopping experience for members.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition to make informed decisions on product selection and placement.
- Communicate effectively with other department managers and team members to coordinate merchandising efforts and maintain a cohesive store environment.
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns related to merchandising, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure that all team members do the same while performing merchandising tasks.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve the member experience.
- Uphold the company's values and mission while representing the store to customers and the community.
Strong Retail Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Merchandising Or Leadership Role.
Excellent Organizational Skills: The Merchandising Lead Will Be Responsible For Overseeing Multiple Product Categories And Ensuring They Are Properly Stocked And Displayed. This Requires Strong Organizational Skills And The Ability To Prioritize Tasks.
Leadership Skills: As A Lead Position, Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Managing A Team And Demonstrating Strong Leadership Skills. This Includes The Ability To Motivate And Train Team Members, As Well As Handle Any Conflicts Or Issues That May Arise.
