- Ensure shelves are fully stocked with merchandise at all times.
- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.
- Restock merchandise according to planogram and store standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, display areas, and backroom storage.
- Assist in setting up displays and promotional signage.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any stock shortages or overstock to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with locating products and answering any questions.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move merchandise.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while handling merchandise and operating equipment.
- Keep track of expiration dates and rotate products accordingly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes and optimize efficiency.
- Cross-train in other areas of the store to provide support as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including cash handling and loss prevention measures.
Strong Organizational Skills: This Role Requires An Individual Who Is Able To Efficiently Organize And Manage Inventory, Ensuring That Products Are Properly Stocked And Readily Available For Customers.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Accurately Track And Record Inventory Levels, Identify Discrepancies, And Maintain Accurate Records Is Crucial For A Merchandise And Stocking Associate.
Physical Stamina: This Position Involves Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Stocking Of Heavy Merchandise, As Well As Standing And Walking For Long Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Customer Service Skills: As A Key Member Of The Store Team, The Merchandise And Stocking Associate Is Expected To Provide Friendly And Helpful Service To Customers, Assisting Them With Any Inquiries And Ensuring A Positive Shopping Experience.
Team Player: The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment Is Essential For This Role.
