Job Description

Welcome to Sam's Club, where we value hard work, dedication, and teamwork. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Merchandise and Stocking Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our shelves are stocked and our merchandise is displayed in an attractive and organized manner. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   1. Stock and replenish merchandise on shelves and displays according to company standards and guidelines.
  2. Organize and maintain the backroom and storage areas in an orderly manner.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock or out-of-stock items to management.
  4. Ensure all merchandise is accurately labeled with the correct prices and product information.
  5. Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly and helpful customer service.
  6. Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport merchandise.
  7. Keep track of and report any damaged or defective merchandise to management.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling merchandise and operating equipment.
  9. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  11. Assist with setting up displays and promotional signage as needed.
  12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance guidelines.
  13. Continuously strive to improve and maintain a high level of productivity.
  14. Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
