- Provide efficient and friendly service to members at the checkout counter.
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments and ensure proper change is given.
- Maintain a neat and organized checkout area.
- Answer any questions or concerns from members regarding products, services, or policies.
- Assist members with locating products within the store.
- Scan and bag items for members, ensuring accuracy and care.
- Promote and upsell Sam's Club membership and services to non-members.
- Keep up-to-date on current promotions and sales to inform members.
- Handle returns and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience for members.

Cash Handling Skills: The Member Frontline Cashier Will Be Responsible For Handling Cash, Credit, And Debit Transactions, So Having Strong Cash Handling Skills Is Crucial. This Includes The Ability To Count And Handle Money Accurately And Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: As A Cashier, It Is Important To Be Detail-Oriented And Thorough In Your Work. This Includes Accurately Scanning And Bagging Items, Ensuring The Correct Prices Are Charged, And Reconciling Cash And Receipts At The End Of Each Shift.
Team Player: Working As A Member Frontline Cashier Requires The Ability To Work Well With Others. This Includes Collaborating With Other Cashiers And Store Associates To Provide Excellent Customer Service, As Well As Being Willing To Help Out In Other Areas Of The Store When Needed.
Knowledge Of Point Of Sale Systems: Familiarity With Point Of Sale (Pos) Systems Is A Must For This Role. This Includes The Ability To Operate A Cash Register, Process Payments, And Handle Returns And Exchanges. Knowledge Of Any Specific Pos Systems Used By Sam's Club Is A Plus.
