- Provide exceptional customer service to members by greeting them with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Efficiently process member transactions, including cash, credit, and check payments.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when handling cash and other forms of payment.
- Answer any questions or concerns that members may have about their transactions or products.
- Ensure that all transactions are completed in a timely manner and follow proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized front-end area.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Sam's Club by promoting membership benefits and our commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Continuously look for ways to improve the member experience and provide feedback to management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, even in stressful situations.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Complete all training and certification requirements for the position.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a smooth operation of the front-end.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions to assist members with their shopping needs.
- Help to resolve any member complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all cash handling procedures and ensure the accuracy of all transactions.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Strong Customer Service Skills: A Member Frontline Cashier Should Possess Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills In Order To Provide Exceptional Service To Sam's Club Members.
Cash Handling Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Handling Cash, Processing Transactions, And Maintaining Accurate Records In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment.
Attention To Detail: Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role, As Cashiers Are Responsible For Accurately Scanning And Entering Prices For Items, As Well As Processing Coupons And Discounts.
Team Player: A Member Frontline Cashier Should Be A Team Player, Willing To Assist Other Cashiers And Team Members When Needed To Ensure Efficient And Smooth Operation Of The Checkout Process.
Ability To Multitask: This Position Requires The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously, Such As Scanning Items, Processing Payments, And Answering Customer Inquiries, While Maintaining A Friendly And Professional Demeanor.
