- Operate cash registers and accurately process member transactions, including handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all items are scanned and bagged correctly.
- Monitor and manage member queues, ensuring that all members are served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Educate members about Sam's Club membership benefits and promotions, and encourage them to sign up for a membership if they are not already a member.
- Resolve member complaints and escalate any complex issues to the Front End Manager.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience for members.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and store layout to assist members with finding products and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Adhere to all cash handling and loss prevention procedures to ensure the safety and security of member transactions.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, even during busy and stressful periods.

Customer Service Skills: A Member Frontline Cashier Should Possess Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Provide Exceptional Service To Members. This Includes Being Friendly, Approachable, And Able To Handle Difficult Situations With Professionalism.
Cash Handling Experience: Experience In Handling Cash Transactions And Operating A Cash Register Is Essential For This Role. Cashiers Should Be Able To Accurately Count Money, Make Change, And Process Transactions Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: As A Frontline Cashier, It Is Important To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accuracy In The Transaction Process. This Includes Scanning Items Correctly, Verifying Prices, And Handling Coupons And Discounts Accurately.
