In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing friendly and efficient service at the checkout. - Greet and welcome members as they enter the store, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns members may have.
- Operate cash registers and accurately process member transactions, ensuring all purchases are scanned and priced correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are well-stocked and readily available.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of store policies and procedures, including returns, exchanges, and membership benefits.
- Actively promote and sell Sam's Club memberships and credit cards to eligible customers.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and integrity, following all cash handling and security procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
- Assist with training and mentoring new cashiers as needed.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed performance goals, such as speed, accuracy, and member satisfaction.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: A Member Frontline Cashier Must Have Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Provide Top-Notch Customer Service To Sam's Club Members.
Cash Handling Experience: Candidates Should Have Experience Handling Cash And Operating A Cash Register, As Well As The Ability To Accurately Count And Handle Large Amounts Of Money.
Attention To Detail: The Job Of A Member Frontline Cashier Requires A High Level Of Accuracy, As Cashiers Are Responsible For Processing Transactions And Ensuring That All Prices And Discounts Are Correctly Applied.
Team Player: Sam's Club Values Teamwork, And A Member Frontline Cashier Must Be Able To Work Effectively With Other Cashiers, Team Leads, And Supervisors To Ensure Smooth Operations And A Positive Work Environment.
