- Greet and welcome members as they enter the store, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with member needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment by regularly collecting and organizing shopping carts and baskets, and keeping the parking lot and entrance areas clear of debris.
- Monitor and maintain the availability of shopping carts and baskets for members to use.
- Ensure all shopping carts and baskets are clean and in good working condition.
- Assist members with loading and unloading items into their vehicles, as needed.
- Follow all safety and security procedures, including proper cart retrieval and storage.
- Keep designated areas, such as cart corrals and storage areas, clean and tidy.
- Be knowledgeable about store layout and product locations to assist members with finding items.
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure efficient store operations.
- Proactively identify and resolve any member issues or concerns related to cart availability or cleanliness.
- Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company's values and image at all times.
- Attend all required training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Customer Service: A Member Assist Cart Attendant Should Have A Strong Background In Customer Service, As The Role Involves Providing Assistance And Support To Members Of The Club.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: The Job Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects (Such As Shopping Carts) And Stand For Long Periods Of Time, So Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Important Qualifications.
Attention To Detail: As A Member Assist Cart Attendant, One Must Be Able To Pay Close Attention To Detail To Ensure The Safety And Cleanliness Of The Parking Lot And Cart Area.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Member Assist Cart Attendant Will Be Interacting With Members, Colleagues, And Other Team Members Throughout Their Shift.
Knowledge Of Safety Procedures: A Member Assist Cart Attendant Should Have Knowledge Of Safety Procedures And Protocols, As They Will Be Responsible For Maintaining A Safe And Secure Environment For Members And Employees.
