Member Assist Cart Attendant

- Greet and assist members in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Retrieve and organize shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to the designated area.
- Keep the store entrance and surrounding areas clean and presentable at all times.
- Assist members with loading and unloading their purchases.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Ensure that all carts are in good working condition and promptly report any maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe shopping environment for all members.
- Monitor and control cart inventory to ensure availability for members.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Be knowledgeable about the products and services offered at Sam's Club and provide recommendations to members when needed.
- Stay updated on store policies and procedures to provide accurate information to members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Customer Service Skills: A Member Assist Cart Attendant Must Have Excellent Customer Service Skills To Provide Assistance To Club Members, Answer Questions, And Address Any Concerns They May Have.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires The Ability To Stand For Long Periods Of Time, Push And Pull Heavy Carts, And Perform Repetitive Movements Such As Bending And Lifting.
Attention To Detail: A Member Assist Cart Attendant Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail In Order To Maintain The Cleanliness And Organization Of The Parking Lot And Cart Corral Areas.
Teamwork And Communication: This Role Involves Working Closely With Other Team Members, As Well As Communicating With Club Members And Management. Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Position.
Time Management Skills: As A Member Assist Cart Attendant, One Must Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Their Time Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment. This Includes Quickly Retrieving And Organizing Carts, As Well As Completing Other Assigned Duties In A Timely Manner.
