Responsibilities:

1. Manage daily operations of the Optical Department including staff, product selection, and customer service.
2. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service, problem solving, and product selection.
3. Hire, train, and coach Optical Department staff members.
4. Analyze data to assess performance and develop strategies to improve operations.
5. Ensure department is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
7. Maintain records of customer transactions and other relevant information.
8. Oversee the scheduling of opticians and other staff members.
9. Monitor quality of products and services provided by the Optical Department.
