- Receive and inspect incoming merchandise to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Organize merchandise according to department and shelf location.
- Safely and efficiently move merchandise using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Stock and replenish merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with product inquiries and locating merchandise.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job knowledge and performance.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including proper handling of merchandise and cash transactions.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions to better assist members.
- Assist with unloading and loading delivery trucks as needed.
- Adhere to company standards for productivity and efficiency.
Strong Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects, As The Job Requires Frequent Lifting And Moving Of Merchandise.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills To Ensure Efficient Handling And Distribution Of Incoming And Outgoing Shipments.
Familiarity With Inventory Management Software And Systems, As Well As Basic Computer Skills For Data Entry And Tracking.
Experience In A Warehouse Or Retail Environment, With Knowledge Of Proper Safety Procedures For Handling And Storing Merchandise.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills To Collaborate With Other Associates And Effectively Communicate With Vendors And Truck Drivers.
