- Receive incoming merchandise and verify accuracy of shipment against purchase orders and invoices.
- Sort and organize merchandise according to company standards and procedures.
- Stock merchandise on sales floor shelves, racks, and displays in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet daily productivity goals.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with merchandise to management.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counting to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product location and inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Strong Knowledge Of Inventory Management: A Freight Flow Associate At Sam's Club Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Inventory Management Processes And Procedures. This Includes Experience With Receiving, Stocking, And Replenishing Merchandise.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role Requires Frequent Physical Activities Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Boxes, Pushing And Pulling Carts, And Standing For Long Periods Of Time. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Excellent Physical Stamina And Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Objects.
Attention To Detail: Freight Flow Associates Are Responsible For Ensuring The Accuracy Of Inventory Records And Properly Labeling And Organizing Merchandise. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Correct Any Discrepancies.
Excellent Communication Skills: In This Role, You Will Be Working With A Team Of Other Associates, As Well As Interacting With Customers. Strong Communication Skills Are Essential To Effectively Collaborate With Others And Provide Excellent Customer Service.
