- Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments according to company procedures.
- Organize and sort merchandise based on department and category.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and ready for display.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including backroom and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment of merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Actively engage with customers and provide exceptional service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and transport merchandise.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with merchandise to management.
- Continuously monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure product availability for customers.
- Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
- Prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and increase efficiency within the freight flow department.
Strong Organizational Skills: A Freight Flow Associate Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Their Workload Effectively. They Should Be Able To Maintain An Organized And Efficient Work Area To Ensure Smooth Flow Of Merchandise.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Physical Work Such As Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes, Standing For Long Periods Of Time And Operating Equipment. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Meet The Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: As A Freight Flow Associate, Accuracy Is Crucial In Receiving, Sorting, And Stocking Merchandise. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure The Right Products Are Delivered To The Correct Locations.
Team Player: This Role Involves Working Closely With Other Associates And Departments To Ensure Merchandise Is Properly Received And Stocked. A Strong Team Player Who Can Communicate Effectively And Work Collaboratively Is Essential For This Role.
