- Receive and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize proper equipment and procedures to unload and sort merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and report any discrepancies to management.
- Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and in designated areas, following proper product placement procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, dusting, and disposing of empty boxes and packaging materials.
- Assist in inventory control by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Assist members with locating and retrieving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and accurately, following proper training and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels, product placement, and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve job knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards members and colleagues, reflecting the values of the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Logistics And Supply Chain Management: A Freight Flow Associate At Sam's Club Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Logistics And Supply Chain Processes Involved In The Movement Of Goods From Vendors To The Store.
