- Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments in an organized and efficient manner.
- Sort and organize merchandise according to department and stocking location.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Stock and replenish merchandise on store shelves and displays.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly stocking goals.
- Communicate any merchandise or supply shortage to management.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and other inventory control measures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with locating merchandise and answering any questions they may have.
- Follow safety and security procedures to prevent theft and damage to merchandise.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Display a positive attitude and strong work ethic at all times.
- Attend and participate in training and meetings as required.
Experience In Inventory Management: A Freight Flow Associate At Sam's Club Should Have Experience In Managing Inventory, Including Tracking Incoming And Outgoing Shipments, Maintaining Accurate Records, And Identifying Any Discrepancies.
Familiarity With Warehouse Operations: This Role Requires Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Such As Receiving And Unloading Merchandise, Organizing Storage Areas, And Operating Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.
Physical Stamina: Freight Flow Associates Must Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Items, Stand For Long Periods, And Perform Physically Demanding Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Attention To Detail: The Job Involves Handling A Large Volume Of Merchandise, So Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Accuracy In Inventory And Order Processing.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: Freight Flow Associates Work Closely With Other Team Members, As Well As Suppliers And Truck Drivers, So Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For A Successful Candidate.
