Freight Flow Associate

- Receive and unload incoming merchandise shipments at Sam's Club store.
- Inspect merchandise for damage and discrepancies and report any issues to management.
- Sort and organize merchandise according to department and location within the store.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management processes.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move merchandise within the store.
- Restock merchandise on shelves and ensure that products are displayed in an organized and visually appealing manner.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely and efficient movement of merchandise.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service when needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep work area clean and free of clutter to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a strong work ethic at all times.
- Proactively identify and report any issues or concerns related to merchandise flow and inventory management.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Attend training and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
Knowledge Of Freight Handling: A Freight Flow Associate At Sam's Club Should Have Experience And Knowledge In Handling And Organizing Freight In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting. This Includes The Ability To Operate Equipment Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.
Time Management Skills: This Position Requires A High Level Of Organization And The Ability To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Time Management Skills To Ensure That Freight Is Processed And Delivered In A Timely Manner.
Attention To Detail: The Freight Flow Associate Is Responsible For Accurately Counting, Scanning, And Labeling Merchandise. Attention To Detail Is Critical In This Role To Ensure That The Correct Items Are Received, Processed, And Delivered To The Sales Floor.
