  1. Receive and process incoming merchandise shipments.
  2. Sort and organize merchandise according to department and location.
  3. Stock merchandise on shelves and displays accurately and efficiently.
  4. Ensure inventory accuracy by verifying item numbers, quantities, and conditions.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  6. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move merchandise.
  7. Collaborate with team members to meet daily stocking goals.
  8. Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management.
  9. Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with their inquiries.
  11. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to assist members in finding desired products.
  12. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tasks and responsibilities.
  13. Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  15. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Warehouse Or Retail Inventory Management: A Freight Flow Associate At Sam's Club Is Responsible For Managing The Flow Of Inventory In And Out Of The Store. Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Management Systems, Is A Key Qualification For This Role.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Prioritize Tasks, Manage Multiple Responsibilities, And Work Efficiently To Keep Up With The Fast-Paced Environment Of A Retail Store. A Successful Freight Flow Associate Should Have Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills.

  • Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: The Job Of A Freight Flow Associate Can Be Physically Demanding, As It Involves Unloading And Stocking Heavy Boxes And Merchandise. Applicants Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift At Least 50 Pounds.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy: Freight Flow Associates Are Responsible For Ensuring The Accuracy Of Inventory Data And Maintaining The Integrity Of The Products Being Received And Stocked. Attention To Detail And A High Level Of Accuracy Are Essential Qualities For This Job.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Team, Freight Flow Associates Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively And Work Collaboratively With Other Associates, Managers, And Vendors.
