Freight Flow Associate

- Receive and unload incoming merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of merchandise received against shipping documents.
- Sort and organize merchandise according to department and category.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies with merchandise.
- Assist with inventory management and replenishment processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling merchandise.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to members when needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and changes in inventory.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Most Employers Require A High School Diploma Or Equivalent For This Position To Ensure Basic Education And Communication Skills.
Previous Retail Or Warehouse Experience: Experience In A Retail Or Warehouse Setting Is Beneficial, As It Demonstrates Knowledge Of Inventory Management And Shipping/Receiving Processes.
Strong Organizational Skills: Freight Flow Associates Must Be Able To Manage Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires Standing, Walking, And Lifting For Extended Periods Of Time, So Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects Is Essential.
Attention To Detail: To Ensure Accuracy In Inventory Management And Shipping/Receiving, Freight Flow Associates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot Any Discrepancies Or Errors.
