- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the freezer, cooler, and deli areas.
- Monitor and maintain proper temperature of all products in the freezer, cooler, and deli.
- Regularly restock and rotate products in the freezer, cooler, and deli to ensure freshness.
- Assist customers with locating products in the freezer, cooler, and deli and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling and storing food products.
- Handle and prepare deli products according to company standards and customer requests.
- Keep track of inventory levels and notify management of any low or out-of-stock items.
- Communicate any product quality or safety concerns to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with loading and unloading product deliveries.
- Stay up-to-date on current promotions and sales in the freezer, cooler, and deli departments.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to learn about new products and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Take initiative to suggest improvements for the freezer, cooler, and deli areas.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, providing a welcoming and pleasant experience for customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge Of Safe Food Handling Procedures: As A Freezer/Cooler/Deli Employee, It Is Essential To Have A Strong Understanding Of Food Safety Regulations And Procedures To Ensure The Quality And Freshness Of All Products.
Previous Experience In A Retail Or Food Service Setting: Experience Working In A Fast-Paced, Customer-Facing Environment Is Ideal For This Role. Previous Experience In A Similar Department Or Job Can Also Be Beneficial.
Ability To Work In A Cold Environment: The Job Requires Working In A Freezer Or Cooler For Extended Periods, So The Ability To Work In A Cold Environment Is Crucial.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: This Job Involves Interacting With Customers, So Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential. This Includes Being Able To Assist Customers With Product Questions And Provide Recommendations.
