- Maintain stock levels: Ensure that the freezer, cooler, and deli sections are fully stocked with products at all times, including restocking shelves and rotating products to maintain freshness.
- Organize products: Keep the freezer, cooler, and deli sections clean, organized, and visually appealing for customers by ensuring all products are properly labeled and easily accessible.
- Monitor inventory: Keep track of inventory levels and alert management when products are running low or out of stock. Assist in completing inventory counts as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answer any questions they may have, and provide recommendations and assistance in locating products.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines: Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols when handling and stocking products, including proper food handling procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other associates to ensure efficient and effective stocking and organization of the freezer, cooler, and deli sections.
- Maintain product quality: Check expiration dates and ensure that all products are fresh and meet the company's quality standards.
- Perform administrative tasks: Assist in receiving and unloading deliveries, completing paperwork, and updating inventory records.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge: Attend training sessions and stay informed about product information, promotions, and pricing to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
