As a Forklift-Merchandising Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our merchandise is properly stocked and organized, creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our members.   1. Operate forklift to transport and organize merchandise within the store.
  2. Ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed according to company standards.
  3. Receive and document incoming merchandise, checking for accuracy and quality.
  4. Maintain inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management.
  5. Assist in unloading and loading trucks, verifying accuracy and condition of merchandise.
  6. Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to members by answering questions and directing them to desired products.
  8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  9. Identify and report any damaged or defective merchandise to management.
  10. Work in accordance with company policies and procedures to uphold a positive and professional image.
  11. Continuously monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise as needed.
  12. Assist in setting up displays and promotions, following company guidelines.
  13. Attend training sessions and stay updated on product knowledge and safety procedures.
  14. Adhere to forklift safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Forklift Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification From A Recognized Institution To Safely And Effectively Operate A Forklift In A Busy Retail Environment.

  • Experience In Merchandising: Previous Experience In Merchandising And Organizing Products In A Retail Setting Is Preferred. This Includes Skills In Inventory Management, Product Placement, And Maintaining A Visually Appealing Store.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Team Members, Supervisors, And Customers Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Being Able To Follow Instructions, Ask For Help When Needed, And Provide Excellent Customer Service.

  • Physical Stamina: This Job Requires A Lot Of Physical Activity, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Merchandise. The Candidate Should Be Able To Stand For Long Periods, Bend, Lift, And Reach Overhead Without Difficulty.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Accurate Inventory Management And Proper Product Placement. The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Maintain High Standards Of Cleanliness And Organization In The Store.
