- Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move and organize merchandise in the warehouse.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling merchandise to ensure proper organization and placement.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the forklift and working in the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate and prioritize tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and trailers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to merchandise handling, safety, and sanitation.
- Provide excellent customer service to members by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues related to merchandise.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in daily tasks.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Sam's Club to members and the public.
- Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Valid Forklift Operator Certification - The Ideal Candidate For The Forklift-Merchandising Associate Position Should Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From A Recognized Institution.
Experience In Merchandising And Inventory Management - A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Merchandising And Inventory Management Is Preferred For This Role.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects - As This Job Involves Moving And Lifting Heavy Objects, Candidates Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
