- Operate forklift to move and transport merchandise throughout the store.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklift and other equipment.
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise in designated areas.
- Follow proper merchandising procedures to maintain a clean and organized store.
- Assist in setting up displays and ensuring proper product placement.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with any inquiries or needs.
- Keep track of inventory and report any damaged or missing products.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety, customer service, and merchandising.
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions to better assist members.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Take initiative to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Follow proper safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Valid Forklift Certification: A Forklift-Merchandising Associate Must Possess A Valid Forklift Certification To Safely Operate Equipment And Move Merchandise Throughout The Store.
Experience In Merchandising: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience In A Merchandising Role, Preferably In A Retail Setting. This Includes Setting Up Displays, Stocking Shelves, And Maintaining Inventory Levels.
Physical Ability: This Role Requires A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise. Candidates Should Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: Maintaining Accurate Inventory Levels And Ensuring Merchandise Is Properly Displayed And Stocked Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. Candidates Should Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Follow Specific Instructions.
Team Player: The Forklift-Merchandising Associate Will Work Closely With Other Team Members, Including Sales Associates And Supervisors. Strong Teamwork Skills And The Ability To Communicate Effectively Are Essential For Success In This Role.
