  1. Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to move merchandise within the store.
  2. Stock and replenish merchandise in designated areas using forklift equipment.
  3. Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate stocking of merchandise.
  4. Ensure merchandise is properly organized and displayed according to company standards.
  5. Inspect and report any damages or discrepancies in merchandise to management.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including forklift equipment and surrounding areas.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating forklift equipment.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of store layout and merchandise locations to efficiently complete tasks.
  9. Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
  11. Meet productivity and quality standards set by the company.
  12. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  13. Cross-train in other areas of the store to provide support as needed.
  14. Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic at all times.
  15. Uphold company values and promote a positive image of Sam's Club to customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Forklift Operation Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Operating A Forklift, As This Is A Critical Aspect Of The Job. They Should Be Able To Safely Maneuver Heavy Loads And Materials In A Warehouse Or Retail Setting.

  • Merchandising Skills: A Strong Understanding Of Merchandising Principles And Techniques Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Product Placement, And Visual Presentation.

  • Physical Strength And Stamina: This Job Requires Lifting And Moving Heavy Items, As Well As Standing For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Attention To Detail: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, It Is Important To Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Inventory Management And Product Placement. This Includes The Ability To Identify And Correct Any Discrepancies Or Errors.

  • Teamwork And Communication Skills: The Ability To Work Well In A Team And Communicate Effectively With Coworkers Is Essential In This Role. Forklift-Merchandising Associates Often Work Closely With Other Team Members To Complete Tasks And Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Efficiently.
