- Operate forklift safely and efficiently to move merchandise and materials within the warehouse.
- Use forklift to load and unload merchandise from trucks and trailers, ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Follow established warehouse procedures to store and organize merchandise in a neat and orderly manner.
- Assist with inventory management and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Continuously strive to meet and exceed productivity and performance goals set by management.
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on company policies and procedures to perform job duties effectively.
Valid Certification: The Candidate Must Have A Valid Forklift Certification From A Recognized Training Program Or Organization.
Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Operating A Forklift In A Warehouse Or Retail Environment Is Required.
Physical Ability: The Job Requires Standing, Bending, And Lifting Heavy Objects For Extended Periods Of Time, So The Candidate Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks.
Attention To Detail: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Accurately And Efficiently Moving And Organizing Merchandise, So Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Prevent Damage Or Loss Of Inventory.
Team Player: The Candidate Must Possess Strong Teamwork And Communication Skills To Effectively Coordinate With Other Team Members And Ensure Smooth And Efficient Operation Of The Forklift And Merchandising Tasks.
