Look no further, because Sam's Club is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Director of Marketing Planning and Strategy for our Membership division. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of talented marketers and shape the direction of our membership program. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing plans, as well as a strong understanding of membership programs and customer acquisition.   1. Develop and execute marketing plans to drive membership growth for Sam's Club.
  2. Lead and manage a team of marketers to ensure efficient and effective implementation of marketing strategies.
  3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and objectives.
  5. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of membership programs and customer acquisition strategies.
  6. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to inform future strategies and optimize ROI.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in membership marketing to continuously improve and innovate.
  8. Develop and manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve desired results.
  9. Work closely with external agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of marketing materials and campaigns.
  10. Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on marketing plans and initiatives.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for marketing plans and initiatives.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and vendors to support marketing efforts.
  14. Monitor and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and standards in all marketing efforts.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Marketing, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Marketing Planning And Strategy, Preferably In A Retail Or Membership-Based Organization.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Successful Marketing Strategies To Drive Membership Growth And Retention.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Use Data To Inform Marketing Decisions.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
