Baker and Packager Associate
Welcome to the Sam's Club team! We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our dynamic bakery department as a Baker and Packager Associate. - Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, following recipes and quality standards set by the bakery department.
- Package and label baked goods in an organized and efficient manner.
- Ensure all products are fresh, properly labeled, and meet food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including regularly cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with any inquiries or requests regarding bakery products.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Continuously seek to improve and innovate baking processes and recipes.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
Experience In Baking And Packaging: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Baking Goods Such As Bread, Pastries, And Desserts. Additionally, Experience In Packaging And Labeling Baked Goods For Retail Sale Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation: A Basic Understanding Of Food Safety And Sanitation Practices Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Proper Food Handling, Storage, And Cleaning Procedures To Ensure Product Quality And Safety.
Attention To Detail: As A Baker And Packager Associate, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. This Includes Accurately Measuring Ingredients, Following Recipes, And Packaging Products Neatly And Presentably.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires Standing For Long Periods Of Time, Lifting And Carrying Heavy Ingredients And Equipment, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.
Customer Service Skills: As A Member Of The Sam's Club Team, The Baker And Packager Associate Will Interact With Customers On A Regular Basis. Strong Customer Service Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Provide Friendly And Helpful Service, Are Important For This Role.
