Backroom Associate

1. Maintaining a clean and organized backroom by properly stocking and arranging products according to company standards.
2. Receiving and processing incoming merchandise, including unloading and unpacking shipments, verifying quantity and quality, and entering data into inventory system.
3. Ensuring all products are properly labeled and priced before being placed on the sales floor.
4. Conducting regular inventory counts and reporting any discrepancies to management.
5. Assisting in the preparation of products for display on the sales floor, including assembling and labeling merchandise.
6. Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and store merchandise.
7. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by following company policies and procedures.
8. Communicating with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate handling of merchandise.
9. Providing excellent customer service by assisting members with locating and retrieving products from the backroom.
10. Assisting in the implementation of promotional and seasonal displays in the backroom.
11. Following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment while handling merchandise.
12. Adhering to company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory control, product handling, and safety.
13. Cross-training in other departments to provide support as needed.
14. Participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products.
15. Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to members and other team members.
