- Organize and maintain the backroom of the store to ensure efficient and timely restocking of products.
- Receive and process merchandise shipments, including checking for accuracy and quality.
- Label and stock merchandise in designated areas, while ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular counts and reporting any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed on the sales floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backroom area, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise as needed.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Assist with customer service by locating and retrieving merchandise as requested.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and inventory control processes.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job knowledge and performance.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and objectives.
- Handle merchandise with care and respect, ensuring accurate handling and storage to prevent damage.
- Follow all cash handling and security procedures, including properly handling and reporting any discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Strong Organizational Skills: As A Backroom Associate, You Will Be Responsible For Managing Inventory, Ensuring Items Are Stocked And Properly Stored, And Maintaining A Clean And Organized Backroom Area. Therefore, Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential For This Role.
