
Backroom Associate

As a Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our inventory is accurately stocked and readily available for our members. - Stock and organize inventory in designated areas of the store.
- Ensure accurate and timely restocking of products on store shelves.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Utilize inventory management systems and equipment to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures while handling and moving inventory.
- Assist with receiving and unloading shipments, checking for damages and verifying accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with inquiries and locating products.
- Continuously communicate with team members and management to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code and attendance.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic, demonstrating dedication and commitment to the job.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and welcoming work environment for all team members and members.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Previous Retail Experience: A Successful Candidate For A Backroom Associate Position At Sam's Club Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment. This Could Include Experience In Stocking, Inventory Management, Or Other Related Roles.
Strong Organizational Skills: Backroom Associates At Sam's Club Are Responsible For Receiving, Organizing, And Stocking Merchandise In The Backroom. Therefore, Strong Organizational Skills Are Crucial For Ensuring That Products Are Stored Efficiently And Can Be Easily Accessed When Needed.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Merchandise. Applicants Should Have The Physical Stamina And Strength To Perform These Tasks Safely And Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: Backroom Associates Must Pay Close Attention To Product Details, Such As Expiration Dates, Product Codes, And Packaging. This Ensures That The Merchandise Is Accurately Accounted For And Properly Stocked On The Sales Floor.
Team Player: As A Member Of The Sam's Club Team, Backroom Associates Must Work Collaboratively With Others To Achieve Common Goals. The Ability To Communicate Effectively, Take Direction, And Contribute To A Positive Work Environment Is Essential For Success In This Role.
