- Manage and maintain the organization of the warehouse and backroom areas.
- Receive, unload, and stock merchandise in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate inventory levels by regularly conducting inventory counts and audits.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety procedures and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move and stack merchandise.
- Assist in the processing of member orders and online orders.
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill member requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and report any damages or discrepancies in merchandise.
- Follow company guidelines and standards for packaging and shipping merchandise.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job performance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by supporting and assisting team members.
- Stay informed about product knowledge and sales to provide members with accurate information.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with members and team members at all times.
Experience With Inventory Management: A Backroom Associate Should Have Experience With Managing Inventory, Including Receiving, Organizing, And Stocking Products In A Retail Environment.
Physical Stamina: The Role Of A Backroom Associate Requires Physical Stamina, As The Job Involves Lifting And Carrying Heavy Items, Standing For Long Periods Of Time, And Navigating Through The Backroom And Sales Floor.
Attention To Detail: Backroom Associates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That All Products Are Properly Stocked, Labeled, And Organized According To Company Standards.
