Asset Protection Associate

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Asset Protection Associate to join our Sam's Club team! Our ideal candidate will be passionate about protecting and safeguarding our goods, customers, and employees. The successful Asset Protection Associate will be committed to preventing losses, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service.To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of asset protection experience, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities. Candidates with a background in law enforcement, security, or safety are preferred. The successful candidate must also be able to pass a background check and drug test. Responsibilities:

• Monitor the store and its surroundings for any suspicious activity

• Report any theft, fraud, or loss incidents to the appropriate authorities

• Investigate any losses to determine the cause and recommend preventive measures

• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, such as fire codes and safety regulations • Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and employees • Enforce store policies and procedures to prevent losses • Assist in conducting store audits and investigations • Prepare detailed reports on investigations • Respond to emergency situations in a timely and professional manner • Provide excellent customer service and answer customer inquiries
