- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure the safety and security of members and associates.
- Monitor and identify potential security risks and take appropriate action to prevent loss or damage to company assets.
- Conduct regular inspections of the store premises to identify and address any safety or security concerns.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement strategies to reduce theft and shrinkage.
- Train and educate associates on safety and security procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any suspected theft or security breaches and report findings to management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents, investigations, and training.
- Conduct audits of inventory and cash handling procedures to identify any discrepancies or potential areas of risk.
- Work closely with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in asset protection.
- Continuously evaluate and improve security measures to ensure the highest level of safety and security for members and associates.
- Represent the company in a professional and professional manner at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Such As Surveillance, Inventory Control, And Investigation Methods.
Attention To Detail: Asset Protection Associates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify Potential Security Risks Or Irregularities In Store Operations.
Strong Communication Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication With Team Members, Customers, And Law Enforcement Officials. Candidates Should Have Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills.
Physical Fitness: Asset Protection Associates May Need To Physically Apprehend Individuals Involved In Theft Or Fraudulent Activities. Thus, Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle Potentially Confrontational Situations.
