We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant Asset Protection Associate to join our team and help us protect our assets and prevent loss. As a member of our Asset Protection team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our store and ensuring the safety of our members and associates. - Monitor and patrol the store premises to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other security risks.
- Maintain a visible presence in the store to deter potential criminals and provide a sense of security for members and associates.
- Utilize CCTV cameras and other security equipment to monitor suspicious activity and respond accordingly.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches.
- Collaborate with store management and other associates to identify and address any security vulnerabilities.
- Train and educate associates on proper security protocols and procedures.
- Respond to any emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and communicate them to appropriate parties.
- Work with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
- Continuously stay updated on company policies and procedures related to asset protection.
- Conduct routine audits and checks to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Communicate and enforce safety and security measures to members and associates.
- Act as a role model for ethical behavior and adhere to high standards of integrity.
- Stay informed about current trends and tactics in theft prevention and apply them to daily practices.
- Remain vigilant and attentive at all times to prevent and respond to potential security risks.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Requirement For An Asset Protection Assoc Job At Sam's Club Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Education And The Ability To Complete Tasks And Assignments.
Previous Experience In Security Or Asset Protection: Employers At Sam's Club Look For Candidates With Previous Experience In Security Or Asset Protection. This Includes Knowledge Of Surveillance Systems, Alarm Systems, And Loss Prevention Techniques.
