If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! Sam's Club is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as an Asset Protection Associate. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for our members and team members.   1. Monitor and patrol the store premises to identify and address potential safety and security risks.
  2. Act as a visible presence to deter and prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
  3. Conduct thorough investigations of any suspicious activities, incidents, or accidents that occur on the premises.
  4. Utilize CCTV systems and other surveillance techniques to identify and document any safety or security concerns.
  5. Collaborate with store management and team members to develop and implement strategies to prevent loss and ensure a safe shopping environment.
  6. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, and severe weather.
  7. Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security, including but not limited to checking receipts and verifying membership cards.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by assisting members and team members with any safety or security concerns.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current safety and security procedures and laws to ensure compliance.
  10. Complete accurate and detailed incident reports and maintain proper documentation.
  11. Work closely with law enforcement and other emergency responders as needed.
  12. Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance job knowledge and skills.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner.
  14. Collaborate with other Asset Protection Associates and team members to maintain a cohesive and effective security team.
  15. Other duties as assigned by store management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For This Job Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Prior Experience In Loss Prevention Or Security: Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Such As Loss Prevention Or Security, Is Often Preferred For This Position.

  • Ability To Handle Sensitive Information: Asset Protection Associates May Be Required To Handle Sensitive Information, Such As Theft Investigations And Surveillance Footage, So Discretion And Confidentiality Are Important Qualifications.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: Asset Protection Associates Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Other Employees, As Well As De-Escalate Potentially Tense Situations.

  • Knowledge Of Safety And Security Procedures: A Good Understanding Of Safety And Security Procedures, Including Emergency Response Protocols, Is Essential For This Job.
