Advanced Degree In Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field: A Successful Candidate For The Vice President, Data Science & Analytics Job At Salesforce Should Have A Minimum Of A Master’s Degree In A Relevant Field. A Ph.d. Or Other Advanced Degree Is Preferred.
Extensive Experience In Data Science And Analytics: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Data Science And Analytics, With A Proven Track Record Of Delivering Successful Projects And Leading Teams In This Field. Experience In A Leadership Or Managerial Role Is Also Preferred.
Strong Technical Skills: The Vice President, Data Science & Analytics Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Science And Analytics Tools And Techniques, Such As Machine Learning, Data Mining, Predictive Modeling, And Data Visualization. Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python And R Is Also Required.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: As A Key Leader In The Organization, The Vice President, Data Science & Analytics Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking Skills To Identify And Prioritize Business Opportunities And Challenges. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of The Business And Industry To Make Data-Driven Decisions That Drive Growth And Profitability.
