Job Description

  1. Develop and execute marketing strategies for the Tableau product line to drive growth and adoption among customers.
  2. Utilize data and analytics to identify key market trends and opportunities for the Tableau product.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and strategy.
  4. Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to inform product positioning and messaging.
  5. Create compelling and impactful marketing materials, including presentations, case studies, and whitepapers, to support sales and customer engagement.
  6. Develop and manage product launch plans and go-to-market strategies for new Tableau features and updates.
  7. Monitor and track the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired results.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on the Tableau product, staying updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  9. Collaborate with the Tableau product team to gather insights and feedback from customers, informing product roadmap and development.
  10. Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and initiatives of the Salesforce brand and ecosystem.
  11. Represent the Tableau product at industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase its capabilities and benefits.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve marketing processes and tactics to optimize results and drive customer acquisition and retention.
  13. Communicate product updates and developments internally and externally to ensure alignment and understanding.
  14. Train and educate sales teams on the Tableau product and its value proposition to support their efforts in driving sales.
  15. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in product marketing, data analytics, and the business intelligence industry to constantly improve and innovate in the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Cross-Functionally And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Marketing, Business, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Product Marketing, Preferably In The B2B Software Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Tableau And Its Capabilities, As Well As Experience Using The Platform.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Creating Successful Go-To-Market Strategies For Software Products.
