  1. Lead the design and development of the email platform infrastructure for Salesforce, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement them.
  3. Conduct research and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the email platform.
  4. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, architecture, and code reviews.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the email platform.
  6. Mentor and guide junior engineers to ensure high-quality code and best practices are followed.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and align technical solutions.
  8. Monitor the performance of the email platform and proactively identify and address any potential issues.
  9. Work closely with product management to define and prioritize features and enhancements for the email platform.
  10. Participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  11. Collaborate with other software engineering architects to ensure consistency and compatibility across different platforms within Salesforce.
  12. Continuously evaluate and optimize the email platform to ensure it meets security and compliance standards.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on email systems and provide technical guidance and support to the wider team.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Engineering: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Software Engineering, With A Strong Understanding Of Coding Principles And Software Architecture. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering Complex Software Projects.

  • Expertise In Email Platform Development: The Software Engineering Architect Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Email Platform Development, Including Email Protocols, Security, And Integration. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Maintaining Email Infrastructure At Scale.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cloud Technologies: Salesforce Is A Cloud-Based Company, And The Software Engineering Architect Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Technologies Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud Platform. They Should Have Hands-On Experience In Designing And Implementing Cloud-Based Solutions.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Software Engineering Architect Should Have Excellent Leadership And Team Management Skills. They Should Be Able To Mentor And Guide Junior Engineers, Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, And Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Continuous Learning And Innovation Mindset: The Tech Industry Is Constantly Evolving, And The Software Engineering Architect Should Have A Passion For Learning And Staying Updated With The Latest Technologies And Trends.
