- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect Salesforce's data and systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security controls for new products and features.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging threats, and compliance requirements to continuously improve our security posture.
- Perform security reviews and gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for remediation.
- Monitor security events and investigate potential security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate any potential threats.
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure a timely and effective response.
- Mentor and train junior team members on security best practices and procedures.
- Communicate security risks and issues to stakeholders and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with external security partners and vendors to enhance our security capabilities.
- Participate in security-related projects and initiatives to improve overall security posture.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for security-related topics and provide guidance to other teams within the organization.
- Continuously assess and improve security processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Act as a liaison between the security team and other departments to promote a culture of security awareness and education.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Extensive Technical Knowledge And Experience In Security Assurance: A Senior Security Assurance Engineer At Salesforce Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Security Principles And Industry Best Practices, As Well As Hands-On Experience With Security Tools And Technologies.
Proven Track Record In Threat Identification And Mitigation: This Role Requires A Candidate With A Demonstrated Ability To Identify Potential Security Threats And Develop Effective Strategies To Mitigate Them. Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments And Implementing Security Controls Is Also Important.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Security Assurance Engineer, You Will Be Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Engineers, And Project Managers. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
